Events     2009 22.+23.06.09 Exhibitor during the VDMA-congress "Intelligenter Produzieren", Mannheim The two-day congress in lectures and discussion fora dealt with Germany as a location for the producing industry in a globalising world under the influence of the current economic crisis. The department SYS in the accompanying exhibition presented results of the project ProDaMi together with the Fraunhofer IITB. 2008 30.+31.10.08 Exhibitor at the Fraunhofer Forum for Innovation "Fokus Technologie", Stuttgart During the forum the results of the 2nd Presidential Project were shown to a selected group of approximately 200 representatives of german enterprises. The department SYS presented in poster form and as demo-software its contributions to the project: the so-called Methods-cockpit and a software for comparing technology evolutions. 22.01.08 Exhibitor during the regional conference Region Westpfalz of the Initiative Gesundheitswirtschaft Rheinland-Pfalz, Kaiserslautern The initiative Gesundheitswirtschaft Rheinland-Pfalz started by the ministries of Health and of Economy aims to improve exploiting the economic and employment potentials of the health care sector. To this end a series of conferences was performed, with the goal to provide a platform for the discussion and concretisation of projects. The ITWM represented through the department SYS participated in the conference as a potential research partner for enterprises of the health care sector. 2007 20.09.2007: Classification Methods in Medicine, Economy und Engineering (in German) The departments System Analysis, Prognosis and Control, Models und Algorithms in Image Processing and Financial Mathematics organize the Workshop Classification Methods in Medicine, Economy und Engineering at Fraunhofer ITWM in Kaiserslautern on September 20, 2007 10.05.2007: Workshop Model Reduction and Control The departments Transport Processes and System Analysis, Prognosis and Control organized the Workshop on Model Reduction and Control at Fraunhofer ITWM in Kaiserslautern on May 10, 2007. 2006 27.-29.09.2006: Exhibitor at the ANALOG 2006, Dresden At the ANALOG 2006 in Dresden (main focus on Design for Manufacturability and Design for Yield for Nanoelectronic Circuits) the Fraunhofer ITWM product Analog Insydes was presented. 2005 16.-18.03.2005: Exhibitor at the ANALOG 2005, Hanover At the ANALOG 2005 in Hanover (main focus on Influence of Field Effects on Analog Circuits) the Fraunhofer ITWM product Analog Insydes was presented. 17.03.2005: Workshop Using Data Mining - methods, application, benefit At March 17th the working group Biosignal processing and diagnosis support of the department System Analysis, Prognosis and Control organised a workshop on Data Mining within the the project . Mathematische Forschungsplattform für regionale KMU sponsored by the European fond for regional development and the federal state Rhineland-Palatinate. Among the approximately 20 participants were members of insurance and consulting companies, enterprises from the medical-technical sector and the glas industry. 01.02.2005: Press conference Stratification of the stroke risk using the SRA II - Stroke Risk Analyser The SRA II - Stroke Risk Analyser is a device for detecting Atrial Fibrillation on the basis of a one-hour-measurement of the heart rate (RR-intervals). It is distributed by apoplex medical technologies GmbH. The software used by the SRA II to analyse time series of RR-intervals was developed in the working group Biosignal processing and diagnosis support of the department System Analysis, Prognosis and Control. The press conference at the Sheraton Airport Hotel in Frankfurt had the goal to launch the SRA II. 2003 23.-27.09.2003: Exhibitor at HUSUMWind 2003, Husum At the HUSUMWind fair 2003 together with our cooperation partner, Lehrstuhl für elektrische Maschinen, Antriebe und Leistungselektronik, University of Dortmund, we presented our torsional stress analyser to constructors and operators of wind turbines. 10.-12.09.2003: Exhibitor at the ANALOG 2003, Heilbronn At the ANALOG 2003 in Heilbronn (main focus on Design Methods for Automotive Applications) the Fraunhofer ITWM product Analog Insydes was presented. June 2003: MACSI-net Event CardioPoint, Graz In June 2003 the MACSI-net event CardioPoint took place in Graz.
